Robert Ringenberg Obituary

RINGENBERG Robert L. Ringenberg, age 61, of Upper Arlington, died Saturday, May 14, 2005 at Regency Manor. He was born March 14, 1944 in Peoria, Illinois the son of Robert and Marjorie (Tulk) Ringenberg. He graduated from Richwood High School in Peoria and then served in the U.S. Army. Later, he graduated from the College of Central Illinois with his degree in business. He worked as a District Manager for various seafood restaurants in Kansas and Columbus, Ohio. While living in Arkansas, he owned and operated Narrow's Inn in Greer's Ferry and was a salesman for Hawk's Mobile Home Sales until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of the American Legion, the Independent Order of Foresters, and the Aid to Lutheran Association. Robert is survived by his daughter, Steffany (Steve) Loper of Powell, OH; step-sons, Justin (Mary) Waldron of Conway, AR and Jason Waldron of Springfield, IL; grandchildren, Jessica and Alexander Loper and Payton Waldron; former wives, Alice Lamneck and Christina McCue; sister, Deanna (Robert) Cheek of Arkansas and their children, James, David, and Chris; brother, William (Nanette) Ringenberg of East Peoria, IL and their children, Kyle, Karha, and Kaleb. The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2005 at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association-Ohio Affiliate, 937 N. High St., Worthington, OH 43085 in his memory.
