Dr. Robert E. Turner

TURNER Dr. Robert E. Turner, age 83, of Millersport, Ohio, passed away Monday, May 16, 2005 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Lt. Col. U.S.A.F. Retired, (40 years service). Dr. Turner was a member of Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, a trustee at the Tri-State University, Angola, Indiana, a Charter member of the American Museum of Great Britain, a member of the American Society of Manufacturing Engineers, Retired Chief Operating Officer, Pantasote, Inc., Chairman of the Board of Tanglewood Builders, Inc., and a member of the Columbus Athletic Club. He was born to the now late Walter and Mabel Turner in Cambridge, OH June 26, 1921. He is survived by his loving and supportive wife of 62 years, Mary E. (nee Mallette) Turner; children, Lana M. Turner, David R. Turner, Diana L. Runkle and Jon W. (Yvonne) Turner; grandchildren, Elizabeth (James) Birdsall, Brooke (Bradley) Shannon, Gretchen (James) Fillmore, Jennifer (Scott, Jr.) Bare, Stephanie, Samantha, Anthony and Angelique Runkle, Joshua and Kimberly Turner; 7 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 19 and 10-11 a.m. Friday, May 20 at Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, 1636 Graham Rd., Reynoldsburg, where service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Rev.
