Ronald D. (Sonny) McCafferty, went to be with the Lord Saturday October 28, 2017. He was preceded in death by parents Bob and Golda McCafferty; brother Paul Carson; sister Medrith Adams. Survived by loving wife of 59 years, Rosemarie; awesome children, Kim McCafferty (Shelly DeCamp), Kellie (Steve) Beaver, Kevin (Cindy) McCafferty; brother, Bill (Kitty) McCafferty; sister, Linda McWhorter; many nieces and nephews; precious grandchildren, Brooke Beaver, Brody and Natalie Beaver, who are both serving in the U.S. military, Alex, Allison and Sammie McCafferty; best friend, his son Kevin and lifelong friend Ronald Kessler. Sonny worked for Baker Concrete Construction and Ultra Concrete Construction and is a U.S. Army Veteran. Sonny's favorite Presidents Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump. The family would like to express a sincere thanks to Kobacker House for their excellent and loving care, Dr. Mark Taylor, his nurses and staff. Last but not least, family, friends and neighbors for their love, prayers and support during this very difficult time. Family will receive friends Thursday 4-7pm at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI Funeral Home, 1068 S. High St, where funeral services will be held 10:30am Friday. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Pastor Steve Combs, from Leave a Mark Church will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Leave a Mark Ministry for their renovation of their outdoor children's park.
