Rusty Shambaugh Obituary
1958 - 2018
Rusty Shambaugh, age 60, passed away August 7, 2018 after courageously battling a long illness. He was born on February 10, 1958. Rusty is preceded in death by his father Robert "Bob" Shambaugh and is survived by his mother, Barbara Shambaugh; siblings, Bobbie (Eric) Cherryholmes, Mike (Cheryl) Shambaugh, Sue (Dan) Promen; daughters, Adrian and Audrey; three grandchildren and many extended family and friends. He graduated in 1976 from North High School. In addition, he graduated a four year Sheet Metal apprenticeship in 1980. Rusty was a proud member of Sheet Metal Workers LU 98/#24, along with his father. In his youth, he was a Boy Scout and became an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed nature and loved camping, fishing, boating, hunting, hot rods and riding his motorcycles. Rusty was family oriented with a kind, generous heart and great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his honor to your charity of choice. A private Life Celebration will be held at a later date.
