Ryan Stout Obituary

STOUT Ryan Taylor Stout, 18, of Rockbridge, died instantly in a car accident near his home on February 5, 2007. His jeep slid on hazardous roads and struck a tree. He was born on March 26, 1988, in Columbus, the son of Thomas Taylor and Bonnie (Distelhorst) Stout, who survive. An Eagle Scout, Ryan graduated in January 2006 from Logan Elm High School and was a freshman at Ohio University, Lancaster. He is mourned by his parents, Thomas and Bonnie; 3 sisters, Kathy (Ted) Thielking, Christine (Kyle) Rooney and Lindsey Marie Stout, all of Columbus; maternal grandmother, Doris Distelhorst of Rockbridge; aunts, Rowena Stout Huddle of Columbus and Terry Distelhorst (Gary) Hoffman of Logan; uncles, Robert (Rickie) Distelhorst of Orlando, FL and Bill Distelhorst of Columbus; best friend, Tiffany Mosher, also a Logan Elm graduate; numerous friends and relatives. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2007, at DEFENBAUGH-WISE-SCHOEDINGER FUNERAL HOME, 151 E. Main St., Circleville, with Rev. Larry Hoffmann officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Visit www.schoedinger.com to send condolences.
