1938 - 2018
Sandy Castle, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. Sandy was born in Columbus, Ohio to Ernest L. and Winifred M. (Billingsley) Redmon. She retired from the State of Ohio where she worked as a Medical Claim Specialist. Sandy was a member of Glenwood United Methodist Church, Past Grand Matriarch of Luther B. Turner Lodge #732 F&AM, Order of the Eastern Star. She was a longtime volunteer with the Red Cross and Suicide Prevention. Sandy will be remembered for her loving and generous heart. She gave blankets to the homeless, bikes to the fire department at Christmas and honored them every September 11 along with many other generous deeds. Preceded in death by her parents and brother Ronald Redmon. Survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Donald; children, Donald (Diane) Castle, Deborah Barnett, Daniel (Diana) Castle and Douglas Castle; grandchildren, Sarah, Ashley, Bradley J., Brittney, DJ and Zachary; great grandchildren, Emily, Aubrey, Ryan and James; brother, Wayne Redmon; sisters, Sherri Pearse and Roxanne Albaugh; many other relatives. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Friday, November 16, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123, where funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, November 17, 2018. Entombment Kingwood Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to American Diabetes Association, Any Veterans Organization or the Homeless. My heart is very sad, Sandy was an awesome co-worker she would always get so excited when I talked. I set right across from her and really never talked, God now has a beautiful Angel Sending prayers to all Sandy's family and friends She will be truly missed at our BWC get together lunchs
