Shaquan A. Brown-Dimmy, age 17, passed away suddenly Thursday, August 24, 2017. Family will receive friends Friday, September 1, 2017 at 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Mt. Vernon AME Church, 1127 Mt. Vernon Avenue, Columbus, OH 43203. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery. Arrangements by WHITE'S FUNERAL and CREMATION SERVICES, 867 S. James Road, Columbus, OH 43227. Benjamin F. We, the families of The Compassionate Friends, send you our heartfelt condolences. The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family. We meet monthly in Columbus from 7-9 PM on the second Tuesday of each month at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1479 Morse Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229. If and when you are ready to do so, please join us. We need Not Walk Along. We are The Compassionate Friends.

To the Brown,Dimmy and Gwynn family and all those who loved Shaquan "Uno Dimmy "God Will Take Care Of You". I thank God for the time He allowed me to know Shaquan. The first thing I notice was he had a good heart. The most important thing was he gave his heart to God. I loved him like he was my son. We will always have a connection as family. Through your brothers and sisters Devron ,Netta and Donavan. We will miss Shaquan he touched our heart and lives. Family We are here for you.
