Dear Sharon, Vicki and all~
You have my deepest heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your dear mother. I have so many wonderful memories of her mothering skills and your family was such an inspiration to me when we lived across from you on West Como Avenue. I learned so many parenting skills and always emjoyed those wonderful mealtimes when I was invited to join you all around the dinner table. My love to all of you. I am especially saddened as I, too, lost my dear mother on the same day. Sharon, I have tried to reach you by phone after returning back to Oklahoma today but the number I have must be old. Dearest Roelle Family- I am very much saddened for the loss of your loved one - Mom,Wife,Friend,Gentle Natured Woman- Shirley. I have had the pleasure of growing up with your Family. Mary , good friend, thank you for sharing that with me. Mrs. Roelle-To the mentor and Teacher who taught me patience as you taught me ceramics in my younger years - you are thought of quite often especially when I return to my learned lessons from you as I paint even a room or in my every day life experiences. I will always remember your words of encouragement, 'you can do this. Be patient and slow down'. You knew I had little patience and you knew I wanted perfection. Little did I know that what you taught me with those small pieces of ceramic would be carried on with me especially in my professional career. I can’t thank you enough.
