Sonia Westmoreland Obituary
Hartselle
Memorial service for Sonia Celeste Westmoreland, 42, of Hartselle will be Monday, June 18, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Benjamin Smothers officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Ms. Westmoreland died Wednesday, June 13, 2012, in Panama City, Fla. She was born August 15, 1969, in Decatur to Kenneth Westmoreland and Judy Holland Westmoreland.
She is survived by her daughter, Jordan Westmoreland; her parents; one brother, Ken Westmoreland of Sacramento, Calif.; one sister, Lesley Smothers (David) of Decatur; grandmother, Doris Goree of Huntsville; and four nephews and nieces, Cole Westmoreland, Sage Smothers, Rylan Smothers and Kenlee Smothers.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to the Jordan Westmoreland Educational Fund, Progress Bank, 255 Grant Street, Decatur, AL 35601.

It was just last week that I was looking through some old pictures and ran across some of Sonia and my family many years ago. We enjoyed many BBQ's and card games together. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She will be missed. I pray that your family will be blessed by all those that loved and remember Sonia.
