I am so very sorry for your loss. Stephanie lived across the hall from my mother at Sunrise this last year - they shared their meals almost every day. My mother is a retired nurse, just like Stephanie, and even though they both suffered the pain of dementia, I liked to think there was a bond between them of a life lived in service to others. I will miss seeing her each week on my visits to my mother, but I am comforted to know she is at peace now.
