Steven Joe Hoyda

Hoyda Steven Joe Hoyda, age 55, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016. He was a graduate of Shelby High School, Class of 1979; graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelors of Science in Zoology and Marine Biology. Steven was employed by Hilliard City Schools as a Network Administrator. He enjoyed Scuba diving, traveling to and climbing light houses, and also loved traveling around the Great Lakes and learning their history. He also enjoyed participating for 19 years in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and Wreaths Across America. Steven volunteered with Hilliard CPA, was an avid weather spotter, and enjoyed gardening. Preceded in death by his father Joe Hoyda and sister Elaine Wright. Survived by loving wife of 23 years, Debbie; sons, Eric (Stefanie) Kelley, Daniel (Sarah) Kelley; mother, Pauline L. Hoyda of Shelby, Ohio; grandson, Charles; and numerous loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, Ohio 43026.
