My mother-in-law was an amazing grandmother to her grandchildren and she would be proud to know that Ra'isah, Khairiya, Sakeenah, Ayana, and Hudhayfah are so strong, understanding that our life on Earth is temporary and we all belong to God and must return to Him. Hanifa is too young to think about it but one day we will tell her about her Wal-Wal, God Willing. I do wish Wal-Wal could have met her youngest grandbaby who was born just 3 days after her passing...but it was not God's Will. She would be proud of her son Dawud for the way he has honoured her. I pray that all family and friends can find comfort in the good memories of Tamara Tanner Brooks!

We spent many hours discussing the obstacles we had encountered in life and through it all 'we' made sense of it. You were truly a sister to me...your kindness to Devyn and myself can never be repayed. Rest in peace my friend...May your children know you are in a much better place. Just peace, no pain!
