Tom and I, along with Jim Holley, shared a beat up house while we are all at Ohio State. Thereafter, we all pretty much departed from Ohio (except Tom). I do recall visiting with Tom to celebrate a Marine Corps birthday in Columbus several years later, which is something that most ex-Marines do. A class guy. God bless; Semper Fi.

Just learned of the death of my cousin Tom today. Was not able to make in person for his memorial or to console my other Betts cousins and Tom's children. Tom, childhood memories of you are forever in my heart.

John and I were in high school with Tom.
Tom and I were classmates. We have kept
a connection with Tom through the Corn City Community Band. We used to go to
Riverlea to play for the 4th of July in the Riverlea community park.
Lots of fun memories with Tom and Sharon and their family.
John and I send our sympathy.

I remember Tom from Deshler High School. The classroom just lit up when he walked into class. So friendly. Tom was my partner at graduation and he made it a fun day. It is good to remember the good times. Remembering his family in my prayers. My sympathy to the Betts family.

I worked with Tom in the 1960's. He was good-natured, smart, and honest. I lost touch with him in the last few years, but I will always remember him as a good person. And, of course, he was a Marine, who served his country well. May he rest in peace.
