Damon, I just read about Tim's passing tonight. I first met him when I moved to Columbus in 1998. He was always that sweet, kind hearted blond that I enjoyed seeing out. We shared many conversations over drinks and I appreciated his smile and soft spoken voice. When you both met in 2007 and I left for South Florida, it was hard not to look back with sadness. You were a beautiful couple and again tonight I am filled with sadness. I will always keep beautiful memories of both of you. Lifes way too short for anything else. Peace to you always, J.

The news of Tim's passing deeply shocked and saddened us. Cynthia and I want to express heartfelt condolences from our home in Connecticut. Ich bin fassungslos.
Seit der Verlobung von Damon und Tim, der ich beiwohnen durfte, kannte ich Tim als einen Menschen, der das Leben liebte, seine Mitmenschen spontan ins Herz schloss und grosszuegig alle an seinem Glueck teilhaben liess. Obwohl das Schicksal sein Leben nicht einfach gestaltete, hat er immer gute Miene zum boesen Spiel gemacht. Er hat die beneidenswerte Gabe besessen, uns stets zum Lachen zu bringen. seems like a great bright light just burned out. the sun shines but it is a dark time for those of us in shock on tim's death. i can't stop thinking of him... all the laughter and joy and fun and kindness and generosity. bless you tim for all you gave gave gave. now on us to live on in your memory and spead your goodwill.

Damon, the loss of Tim has impacted everyone he met....know that both of you impacted our lives. My Mother enjoyed the gallery and spending time with both of you. Tim's urban gardens brightened the neighborhood, we enjoyed all of the colors. He so enjoyed caring for them and picking fresh flowers and herbs for your home. You have my sincerest condolences on the tragic death of Tim. I first met Tim at Larry's Poetry Forum in the early 90's. I vividly recall his infectious smile and sparkling eyes after a successful reading. I have excerpted these lines from "When Death Comes", a poem by Mary Oliver as how I wish to remember Tim:

Tim was one of the first friends I met when I moved to Columbus 20 years ago. He was always warm, always generous, tremendously talented and forever smiling.
