Trevor Jackson Obituary

JACKSON Trevor Jackson, age 26, of Salem, South Carolina (formerly of Lewis Center, Ohio), passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2011. He is survived by his mother, Jill Roberts and step-father, Keith Roberts of Salem, South Carolina; and father, Keith Jackson and step-mother, Jackie Jackson of Wakeman, Ohio; his brother, Justin (Erica) Jackson of Lewis Center, Ohio; and sisters, Chelsea and Katie Jackson of Wakeman, Ohio. His maternal grandmother, Edith Compton survives in Galena, Ohio and paternal grandmother, Patricia (Norm) Jackson Schoaf of Huntley, Illinois; and paternal grandparents, Dick and Pat Roberts survive in Ottawa, Ohio; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Zeus and the family dog, Doodles. Trevor was a 2003 graduate of Olentangy High School, Lewis Center, Ohio. He was presently completing his degree in business management at Gwinnett Technical College and worked as an independent contractor in the construction field. He was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the band Phish. He was a very accomplished wake boarder and snowboarder. He loved being on the lake with his family and dogs: he will be greatly missed by all his friends there. During the winter, he enjoyed hunting deer and wild turkey with his dad. He made a lasting impression on others with the kindness he showed and his smile would light up the room. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, September 11, 2011, at RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL, 450 West Olentangy St. (Powell Rd./St.Rt. 750/1/4 mile east of Sawmill Pkwy.), Powell, OH 43065. Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue Fund of South Carolina ("ARF"), on the premises of Fox Nest Veterinary Hospital, 10445 Clemson Blvd, Seneca, SC 29678 (864-882-4488) where he adopted Zeus. I am so sorry and sad to hear about Trev. He was an amazing guy...so very intelligent. When I think of Trevor, what comes to mind is his love for the lake, his family and friends, his dog, Phish and the Buckeyes. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to hear about Trevor. I was one of his instructors at Gwinnett Technical College. He was always a joyful and respectful young man, and will be missed by the many students and teachers whose life he touched while here at GTC. My deepest condolences to his family.
