Walter Gaiser Obituary
1937 - 2019
Walter P. Gaiser, age 81, of Powell, OH died on Friday, January 4, 2019. He was born in Columbus, OH to Emil and Dora Gaiser, the youngest of two boys. Graduate of Westerville High School and The Ohio State University. Employed by Coca Cola as comptroller in Columbus and Lansing, MI. He retired from Hill Distributing as their comptroller. He was also co-owner of Westerville Golf Center. Veteran of Air National Guard and was stationed in France. He enjoyed sports, especially O.S.U. and was an avid golfer. Survived by his son Neil (Alvie) Gaiser; granddaughter, Amelia; brother, Erich (Shirley) Gaiser; nieces, Kim (Jim) Fabian, Lori Logan and Heidi (Jeff) Fisher. Preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Carol. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Thursday 12 noon-1:30 p.m. followed by a service at 1:30 p.m.. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made the The James Cancer Hospital.
