My Ting Tong! You were there for my first breathe and I was there for one of your last. The bond that we shared can never be replaced. Even if we didn't see each other for a couple of years, when we did see each other again, he always had the biggest smile on his face, his arms wide open and this deep look of love in his eyes. It's like the bond between a father and daughter, I never had that with my dad and still don't, but I always had it with Boats, that unconditional love! It is a great feeling. I will miss him so! He and I loved Rod Stewart and one of the last songs he played for me was Rod Stewart's, "I'll Stand By You". We always connected with music, there are so many songs that connect me and him. I loved and still love him with all of my heart. Holly Ann

I am Boats oldest sister and I love him. I remember Mom going in labor at Buckeye lake on a speed boat and his father having to drive back to Columbus in pouring rain with no wipers on his car and his head hung out the window to see. That is where the nickname Boats came from. He never crawled, when he was ready he stood up and walked to me after I returned from a 2week babysitting job.He loved to fish and having cook outs in his back yard or at a park. Boats loved life. He had many nieces and nephews and all of them loved him and he love them. Boats will be missed by Mom and all his family.

No matter how much we try to be ready for the passing of a loved one, we never are. Uncle Boats will sadly be missed as he has touched many people and leaves behind many wonderful memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you Aunt Jackie in this painful time of grief, take comfort in knowing that Uncle Boats is in a better place without pain and suffering and just remember as the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life’s routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
