Wendy Bower Obituary

Bower (Combs) Wendy L. (Combs) Bower, 39, of Hilliard, died Friday in the Kobacker House after a courageous battle with cancer. Born September 11, 1974 in Columbus; she was a daughter of Ed and Diane (James) Combs. Wendy had been a music teacher at St. Patrick School in London and enjoyed supporting her community through music performances with her students, as well as coaching cross country and track at London High School. She is survived by her husband, John Bower; her parents, Ed and Diane of Pentwater, MI; and brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Kellyn Combs of Dublin. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the First Presbyterian Church of London, with Rev. Gordon Johnson officiating. Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London from 2-6 p.m. Thursday. The family suggests donations in Wendy's memory to the AMERICAN BRAIN TUMOR ASSOCIATION, 8550 W. BRYN MAWR AVE., STE. 550, CHICAGO. IL 60631-3225 or www.abta.org.
