While this is a late entry it is heartfelt. Uncle Bill was the only living sibling of my late father Albert C Harsh Sr. We kept in contact by phone and usually a Christmas card.He visited us many times at our home in Hadley, Pa and then in Fredonia, Pa.,the Harsh family hometown. I will miss the calls and the cards, Uncle Bill, but I will see you again in our Heavenly home. I was so touched when you told me you prayed for me each night. You certainly were a dear, kind man. Your neice, Alice Harsh Rohrbach

I taught with Bill for only 8 years and even though I was never his student, he still taught me many lessons on how to teach. As a young teacher, I was blessed to have wonderful mentors like Bill who continued to influence me throughout my teaching career. I have a lamp that Bill made in our family room that I will treasure as a reminder of him and of our friendship.

Bill Harsh taught useful skills in the wood shop, and he was a model citizen of the high school and community of Hilliard. He is remembered, fondly, as a teacher and friend.

I remember Mr. Harsh from Hilliard HS.
I was in the class of 1959, and my husband was in the class of 1958. Although I never had him for "Shop Class", I do remember him as our advisor for Dance Club! We all thought he was a wonderful dancer and enjoyed watching him. Over the years we would see him and his wife at class reunions, and out in the community.
We enjoyed knowing him.

In a scrapbook I compiled for Dad's 80th birthday (including memories from his friends, family, etc.), I included this preface which expresses my feelings today: Dear Dad, As a result of creating this scrapbook, I am even more humbled by the example of your life. The respect that your friends, neighbors and colleagues have for you is inspiring! I am blessed to have you as my father. Love, Leah

My Father-in-Law will be sadly missed by myself and his family. He was a very sweet and gentle person who we enjoyed having for Dinner on all of the Holidays and afterwards playing Bingo with him. Nice memories of him will be kept forever. God Bless, Debbie
