Mary Lou,
I was so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Dave Carruthers kept me advised of his condition and even though I had not seen the two of you in years I do remember the early days and what a beautiful couple you were.

Dear Mary Lou, Steve, Billy, Debbie, Susie, and Sherrie, I have thought of all of you over the years. How much fun we had in Naples (shelling, late night turtle watches on the beach, etc.) and at Ogelbay Park (I still go there yearly). What idyllic summers, Thanksgiving weekends, and memories our parents gave us! Your dad always made me smile, especially when he beat me at cards. He taught me how to play 21. In the later years, he'd always have time to talk to me when I'd call Naples to say hi. He was a great friend to our family. He was beloved and that is all that really matters in life...to be loved and to love.
My sincerest sympathies, Jessica Lewis Tomasek.

Sheaf Family I will alway remember fondly all our summers at the Billows and Shores. Cocktails (grownups only) on the beach deck and looking for the green flash. Thanksgivings at Ogleby Park and that card trick he never told me how to do. A great husband, father, and friend to our family. My thoughts are with you all. Love Billy Lewis

Bapo, I will miss seeing the twinkle in your eye and the smile on your face. Your smile was so infectious. It catpivated everyone who walked into a room. You had a loving, caring, and generous nature that spilled over to both your family and friends. You were a wonderful father-in-law. I will miss sharing a giddy smile with you, but I know as I look up to the sky you are smiling back.

Dear Mary Lou, My thoughts and prayers are with you now as they have been for the last 3 months. May Gods love and mercy comfort you and your family during this period and always. May He provide His peace for the Sheaf family. Your Bill was a force to be reconned with. I really admired him for his wonderful qualities. Like his graciousness, warmth, kindness, wittyness and of course, his keen sense of business just to name a few. You have been blessed to know such a man and I feel blessed to have known you. Know that the Lord works in mysterious ways and has given much to those who are faithful so have faith that the pain you feel today will lighten and bring happier times. I love your family and pray that, with Godspeed, your grief is replaced with the peace of a happy heart. Love, Maria McConchie

Debbie, To you with all my heart-felt thoughts and prayers...your dad had his angel with him and was comforted all along the way by your presence. You knew that though, and that's why you were there every step of the way, and were given the grace to be there when he went on. So sorry for your loss, and thinking of you at this very surreal, holy time. Hug your mom for me.... love and sympathy, cindy

Bill was such a unique, fun loving person. He was kind, funny and very interesting to talk to. He would stop into Fibber McGee's Closet almost every afternoon with a huge smile on his face and he usually had a funny story to tell me. I will greatly miss Bill as will many of the Fibber McGee's customers who had gotten to know him. My deepest sympathy to Mary Lou and the entire Sheaf family.
