Billie Rush Obituary

Billie Ruth Yarbrough Rush, 78, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at North MS Medical Center- Hospice in Tupelo. She was born January 26, 1938 in Kosciusko, MS to the late William Edward and Ruby Laney Yarbrough. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

She enjoyed yard sales and auctions and liked watching TV, especially "The Golden Girls." She was the matriarch of the family and will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be 11:00a.m. Monday, January 23, 2017 at United Funeral Service with Bro. Derick Finley officiating. Burial will be at Liberty Cemetery. United Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.

She is survived by three daughters, Vickie Sullivan of Blue Springs, Ann Purvis of New Albany and Linda Jobe of Blue Springs; one son, John Rush (Theresa) of Blue Springs; two sisters, Dene Johnson of Olive Branch and Betty Rotenberry of Arlington, TN; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Adam Sullivan; two sisters, Pauline Meador and Helen Page; and her former husband, J. T. Rush.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Sullivan, Ben Hall, Andrew Jobe, Matt Purvis, Justin Keith, Chris Cox and Bradley Shettles.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 5:00p.m. till 8:00p.m. at the funeral home.
