Tiffany Dean Obituary

ABERDEEN - Tiffany Walden Dean, 51, passed away at her home on Saturday, October 15, 2022. She was born on March 13, 1971, in Houston, TX to Julian and Patricia Edgeworth Walden. Tiffany graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1989 and attended Mississippi State University where she graduated with a degree in education. She married Derrick Dean on August 10, 1996, who played football at Mississippi State. She would wait on him after each game. Later, she earned a pharmacy degree in 1997 from the University of Mississippi, becoming a registered pharmacist. Tiffany worked at Fred's Pharmacy in Aberdeen and Amory for many years where her customers were her friends. She cared deeply for all of her customers, along with her co-workers. When she was a teenager, Tiffany worked alongside her sister, Kimberly, at Jitney Jungle in Aberdeen. She was her daughters' biggest fan traveling to every softball and soccer field to watch and cheer on her girls. She loved the Mississippi State Bulldogs, especially baseball and football. Above all, the time she spent with her family, especially around the pool, was her most cherished. She also loved all her animals very deeply. Tiffany attended Forward Church in Amory.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2022, at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory. Burial will follow in the Oddfellows Rest Cemetery in Aberdeen.

In addition to her husband, Derrick Dean, she is survived by her girls, Madeline Dean (Jackson Williams) and McKinley Dean (Victor Vasquez) both of Amory; sister, Kimberly Walters (Claude) of Greenwood Springs; brother-in-law, Rodney (Jim) Thompson of Arkansas; sister-in-law, Peggy Thompson of Aberdeen; nephews, Collin Walters (Stephanie Anderson) and Caleb Walters (Angelica); great nephew, Rowdy Walters; and she was looking forward to another great nephew, Ross Walters, arriving early in 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister-in-law, Terri Thompson.

Pallbearers will be Collin Walters, Caleb Walters, Claude Walters, Jackson Williams, Victor Vasquez, and Robert Thompson. Honorary pallbearers will be friends and co-workers throughout the years.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from noon until service time.
