Larry Patterson Obituary
Larry Patterson, age 55, passed away at Vanderbilt University Medical Center November 2, 2015. He was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Patterson; step-father, John Midgett; son, David Paul Patterson; brother, David Patterson; and sister, Helen Patterson.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Jean Midgett; daughter, Tiffany (Derrick) Lovett; partner of fourteen years, Melony Murphy; brothers, Donnie Patterson, Ronnie (Roberta) Patterson; sisters, Amy (Jerry) Mabry and Susan Midgett
Chapel service will be 1 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2015 at Jennings and Ayers, with Doyle Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends and family will serve as Pallbearers.
Visitation with the family will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Jennings and Ayers.
Arrangements are under the direction of Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home, 820 South Church St., Murfreesboro, TN 37130; (615) 893-2422.

I did not know this gentleman, personally. I do know his loving and grieving partner, Meloney. I know Mr. Patterson must have surely been an outstanding individual to have been so loved by Mel. I offer my sincerest sympathy to the family and loved ones of Larry Patterson.

Daddy, I know you're in a much better place than we are here on this earth. You can see clear as day, you're no longer in pain, and you definitely don't have to have anymore surgeries. My heart longs for you to be here with me. Please continue to guide me through this crazy life we live. I will forever miss you until we meet again! I will do my best to continue to make you proud.
