DANA BRAMWELL Obituary

DANA BRAMWELL Dana Ray Bramwell, age 67, of Dodge City, KS, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at his home in Dodge City, KS. He was born on November 25, 1956, in Concordia, Kansas, to Raymond C. and Lorraine E.(Yeager) Bramwell. Dana had fond memories of his Concordia, Kansas childhood, growing up with his beloved siblings, Becky, Jon and Jody; especially recalling the family holidays, long family vacations, summers spent at the Municipal Swimming Pool, and the endless days playing golf with his brother, Jon. Dana was a 1975 graduate of Concordia High School, and a member of both the basketball and golf teams. He later went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University. While working towards his degree, he also served as the Maintenance Manager for K-State University. After receiving his degree, Dana loaded up his burgundy Monte Carlo, and moved his life to Dodge City, Kansas. There, He managed two prominent companies in manufacturing and trucking , and at one of these jobs, he met his future bride, Rosario (Rosa) Solorzano. Dana and Rosa were married on June 27, 2002. A wonderful father to Rosa's two young daughters, Dana was adamant about taking his girls on wonderful vacations, and celebrating all holidays together, to create family traditions. He was a member of a Dodge City bowling league, and an avid golfer in Dodge City. Dana enjoyed a good game of chess, watching movies, and would host "watch parties" for the television show 'Survivor'. After his long career of managing companies, Dana decided to become a para-professional in the Dodge City Public School System, where he dedicated himself to working with special needs children. He remained in this role for a few years, before retiring. Dana was a proud Grandpa. He loved attending school events and showing his support for his grandkids at all their activities. He was a true animal lover, and remembered fondly all of the many pets he had throughout his life.
