Amanda Davenport Obituary

Amanda Leigh Davenport, a resident of Eufaula, died Feb. 24, 2006, at her home in Eufaula. She was 21.

The funeral will be at 9 a.m. today, Feb. 27, at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Eufaula with Father David Shoemaker officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Garden Cemetery in Eufaula at a later date.

Leigh was born Sept. 7, 1984, in Douglas, Ga., and is the daughter of the late Charles C. McIntosh and Teresa Ragsdale Wain of Attalla. She was a volunteer with Wiregrass Hospice of Eufaula and a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.

Besides her mother, her survivors include her husband, Adam D. Davenport of Eufaula; daughter, Catherine Olivia "Catie" Davenport of Eufaula; her biological father, Danny W. Courson ofEufaula; sister, Kayla McIntosh of Attalla; parents-in-law, Mike and Kim Davenport of Eufaula; and brother-in-law, Robert Davenport, Eufaula.

Pallbearers will be Mike Davenport, Robert Davenport, Ray Wain, Dan Courson, Daniel Reeves and Rick Harden.

Chapman Funeral Home of EufauChapman Funeral Home of Eufaula, (334) 687-3514, is in charge of the arrangements.
