Heidi Marion Restrepo, of Dothan, passed away Saturday night, December 26, 2015 in her home while surrounded by loved ones. Heidi was born in Huntsville, TX on September 25th, 1960 but grew up in Abbeville, AL. She is a graduate of Dothan High School and worked for more than 15 years for Belk in Dothan. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her selflessness and compassion for those around her were apparent to others. Heidi was preceded in death by her father, Aubrey Leon Hamm, and her brother, Michael Craig Hamm. Heidi is survived by her daughter, Presley Restrepo, Dothan; mother, Renate Heurich Hamm, Dothan; brothers, Stephen O'Neal Hamm, Wetumpka and Alan Leon Hamm, Almond, NC; several nieces and nephews; and best friends, Gwen McCallister, and Kathy Grubb. Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at First Christian Church. The family will be there until 5:30 p.m. to greet relatives and friends. Memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Heidi Restrepo Memorial Fund 4500 Sagewood Lane, Centerpoint, Alabama 35215.
