K.L. Sistrunk K.L. Sistrunk passed away Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Dale Medical Center. He was 80 years of age. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2010 from Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 26, 2010 from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. Mr. Sistrunk was born December 26, 1929 to the late Clemmie and Lillian Sis-trunk. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 41 years, Annie J. Sistrunk; his children, Calvin Sistrunk (Betty), Kellis Sistrunk (Mattie), Mike Sistrunk, Kelly Sistrunk (Rosetta) all of Gary, Indiana, Elaine Dawkins (Darrell) of Clark-sville, TN., Barbara Nick-erson (Ben) and Linda Snell, both of Ozark; God daughters, Evelyn Louis and Mary Ann Jones, both of Ozark; brother, Eddie Roy Sistrunk (Delores) of Ozark; sisters, Louise Leonard of Ozark, Annette Lawrence of Gary, Indiana, Grace Knight (Jimmy) of Ozark and Everee Sistrunk of Memphis, TN; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grand-children; several nieces and nephews. Mrs Sistrunk, sorry for the lost of your husband, my prayers goes out to you and yours doing your time of sorrow. Sorry that I could not make it to support you and your family doing the bereaved. Your husband was a kind and loving man Mrs Sistrunk and I know he will be miss. My god always bless you and yours. ( 1SG Darrell Dawkins )

I offer my deepest sympathy in the loss of your husband, father, brother, uncle, grandad, cousin and friend. Sorry I couldn't make the funeral but my sincere prayers were and are with you all. Please know that God is able to see you through these trying times, the road ahead may seem dark and dreary but God is the light at the end of the tunnel, continue to look to him the author and finisher of your faith and he will see you through. (Upon talking to Mr. K.L. I found that we had one great thing in common we both were born Dec. 26.)
