Jean Hozack Obituary

Jean Mackenzie Hozack A Concord Resident Jean Mackenzie Hozack, age 81, passed away peacefully at the Lafayette Care Center in Lafayette, CA on Friday, July 18, 2008. Jean was born July 20, 1926 in Oakland, CA, one of two children of John and Jeannie Hozack. She had retired from Penny's Corporate Office in Oakland after 35 years of faithful service, and was a longtime member of Bethany Gospel Chapel in Oakland. She has resided the past 10 years in Concord. Jean will be dearly missed by her loving brother, John M. Hozack (Shirley) of Concord, CA: her beloved cousin Peggy Jean Sharrard of Walnut Creek, CA; and by two adoring nieces and one nephew. Private inurnment is planned. A memorial celebration of Jean's life will be announced at a later date. Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel (925) 682-4242
