In trying to come up with words to best describe our Uncle Sal, the one word that continued to pop into my head, was "timeless". I have many memories of him, and am a more cultured person because of those occasions. Every time I saw him, I couldn't help but feel as if a piece of my families rich history was right in front of my face. His humor was ageless and clever. (Even as an "old-timer") He has left behind a legacy men dream of, and always enriched the lives of the people lucky enough to know him. I am fortunate to have met such an amazing man, and will miss him greatly. To the immediate family he left behind, I send my deepest condolences. I know well the pain felt during times such as these, but I also understand the value in them. I send my best. I love you all, and God bless.

We will miss you Uncle Sal! I have wonderful, funny and warm memories of our trips as kids to Antioch. Uncle Sal was "cool". I feel fortunate that my son was able to spend time with Uncle Sal as well. Aunt Francine, my thoughts are with you. Sally, I feel your sadness. Love to the family, Cousins, Marta & Erik

Uncle Sal was my mother Noreen's only brother. They were always very close and I so admired that. I, like my sister Pam have fond memories of summer visits in Anticoh with Uncle Sal and Aunt Francine and my cousins. I'll never forget how much he made everyone laugh. We would make my mother laugh so hard she'd cry. I know she will miss that. We all will. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Uncle Sal was my mother Noreen's brother and is a very fond memory of mine from my childhood. We visited Nana and Nanu in Antioch every summer and while there spent a great deal of time with Uncle Sal's family. I truly believed that Uncle Sal never aged, because he always looked the same to me, year after year. He could always make me laugh with his funny stories. He was generous and kind to his nieces, even though I'm sure Marta, Sally and I drove him crazy as teenagers! He will be missed. Sending love to you all during this time of great loss.

I am sure that my Uncle Sal will be missed by all his nieces and nephews (of which he had many), especially me -- he was a favorite uncle to many. He was very much loved!
