Norma Ealy Patterson

1933 - 2025

Norma Ealy Patterson, 92, was born on January 9, 1933 in Lockhart, Texas, to Earl and Constance Lawler Ealy. They moved to Clovis, New Mexico in 1934.
She grew up in Clovis, New Mexico and graduated from Clovis High School in 1951. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree and her Master's Degree in Business Administration from Eastern New Mexico University.
Norma retired after 30 years of service from New Mexico Human Services, Income Support Division, as the Curry County Manager in 1984. After her retirement, Norma joined her mother at Ealy Furniture until 2006 when the store closed.
She was married to Banks H. Redus from 1952 until 1975 when he passed away. She then married Carroll A. Pool in 1978, then later married George C. Patterson in 1996.
Norma was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Daughter of the Nile, BPO Does, Red Hat Flossies, and the Clovis Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her three husbands, one brother; Dwayne Ealy, one step-sister; Nelda Slandefer, and one step-son; Martell Pool, and one aunt; Eddrie Elliot.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law Diane Ealy of California, three step-sisters; Tivila (Bill) Guthrie of Oklahoma, Saundra (Joe) Webber of Alabama, and Christine (Terry) Sorgen of Oklahoma, two step-daughters; Colleen (Mark) Duffey of Rio Rancho, New Mexico and Dawn Hartfiel of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and several cousins.
Pastor Jeb Archey will be officiating Norma's Funeral Service on August 22, 2025 at the First Methodist Church located at 1501 Sycamore Street, Clovis, New Mexico 88101. Services will begin at 10:00am with burial to follow at Lawn Haven Cemetery.
