Leaann C. Kinneman, 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Feb. 24, 2024 at her home in Goshen. She was born Dec. 24, 1937, in Elkhart to Thomas and Elizabeth "Jane" (Williams) Monschein.

On Nov. 19, 1973, she married Joseph Kinneman; he preceded her in death on Oct. 16, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Thomas.

Leaann was a very hardworking woman, had her real estate license, and was the former owner of Leaann's Salon, part-owner in The Bulldog Saloon, and ALCO Tool. She was considered as an Entertainer Extraordinaire by those who knew her. She performed at the Bristol Opera House in Shocking Stocking and her annual Christmas/birthday parties were truly magical due to the fact that she was an incredible host. I've only had the please of knowing your mother since Thanksgiving when my mother in law moved into cottage gardens. I so much enjoyed talking with Leaann and I am so saddened that I will no longer get to visit with her. She was such a special person and we feel that meeting her that first night on the visit, she helped ease my mother in laws hesitations to move. Our family is thinking of your family in this hard time. Thank you for sharing your mother with us.
