JEFFREY JOSEPHSON Obituary

Jeffrey Brian Josephson passed away at the age of 34 in his home town of El Paso, Texas on Sunday, January 20, 2013. Jeffrey graduated from Montwood High School, attended UTEP, and served his country in the US Navy aboard the USS Chester Nimitz and the USS Ronald Reagan. Jeff was an exceptional person with a huge heart. He always went above and beyond to help others and make people smile. His contagious laugh and smile will always be remembered. He was born to Frederick R and Dianne L Josephson. He is survived by his parents and his two sisters Jennifer L Josephson of Lubbock, TX and Bethany A Josephson of Austin, TX. He is further survived by his Aunt, Beverly J Shifrin of Huntsville, Alabama and Uncles Stanley Josephson of Dallas, Texas, Leonard Josephson of San Antonio, Texas, and Chris Diaz of Port St. Lucie, Florida. Memorial Service will be held at St. Luke's Catholic Church 930 E. Redd Road in El Paso, Texas at 1:30 pm Monday, January 28, 2013 Inurnment will be at sea. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East. Please visit online register book at www.sunsetfuneralhomes.net.

Our hearts go out to you at this most difficult time. Jeff dated our daughter Amanda and Dianne was my Nursing Instructor. I remember the kids riding their bikes together when they were still at Montwood High School. Always such a polite gentleman. A Mom I always said put Elizabeth Taylor to shame.
