To my first brother in law and brother. For as long i can remember you where my only brother figure when i was small and you used to preach at me for not doing my chores or not wanting to take a shower and scrub all the dirt off my hands from playing marbles. No one ever did that besides you and my sister Rosa and Letty. I want to thank you for being there for me when i was just a stupid kid. tio i love you always... now i know why every last good bye is just as important as every hello.. i love you tio and think of you everyday.. not a day goes by that i dont think about my tio marty you were a very big part of my life and it hurts to know now that im older how important our family really is and we should take advantage of the fact that we still have each other in this world. know that i will always be there for my tia and cousins i love you tio... everyone of my journeys in this world i will always think of you... our guardian angel forever. i love you tio and gabby loves you just as much.. no one could explain the love that my dad had for you too.. i know you have my tia, cory, marty and all of us in your heart still and always we will have you in our souls! Marty and the rest of the Cabrera family. I don't know if you remember me or not, but my father, Richard Mora who owned a small grocery store next to your family's bakery on North Loop, noticed the obituary today. He couldn't help but call and tell me the sad news. I am floored my this and I wanted to extend my condolences to you all. I am Nancy Mora, Richard's daughter and remember Martin Sr. very much. He was an awesome and funny man. Marty Jr. I hope you remember me, I was one of your friends growing up. You are in mine and my family's thoughts and prayers. He is definitely in a better place. God bless you and your family.

Mr. Cabrera,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USAF during the Cold War. Millions of Americans slept safe at night because you and your fellow servicemen and women stood ready to defend our Country. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
