Micaela Megliorino Obituary
El Paso - Our family sadly lost a pillar on Thursday June 18th, 2020 when Micaela L. Megliorino, favorably known as Mickey, died peacefully at age 84 at home surrounded by those caring for her.
Born in Shafter, Texas on May 10th, 1936 to Alfredo L. Lopez and Mariana G. Lopez, she began a life full of adventure and love. Mickey was the eldest of four children, her siblings being Adan L. Lopez, Eva del Hierro, and Rosalind "Rosie" L. Garcia. Micaela is survived by her significant other Ray Riley, two sisters Eva and Rosie, and three sons: Edward Megliorino, Kenneth Megliorino, and Tony Megliorino Jr. She will be deeply missed by her 3 granddaughters: Alma Rodarte, Zabrina Megliorino, Nemi Sawyer and 3 grandsons: Jude Megliorino, Tony Megliorino III, and Nathan Megliorino. Sadly her great grandsons Justin Megliorino and Greyson Sawyer, will not know the love and guidance Mickey could have presented them in their lives.
Services will be held at Sunset Funeral Homes on Honda Pass Monday July 6th, from 4 to 7 with the Rosary beginning at 5:30 pm. When attending services, please wear a mask for yours and others safety. Please visit online registry at www.sunsetfuneralhomes.net
Nuestra familia perdió tristemente a su pilar el jueves 18 de junio del 2020 cuando Micaela L. Megliorino, conocida favorablemente como Mickey, murió pacíficamente a los 84 años en su hogar y rodeada de quienes la cuidaban. Nacida en Shafter, Texas el 10 de mayo de 1936, hija de Alfredo L. López y Mariana G. López, ella comenzó una vida llena de aventura y amor. Mickey era la mayor de cuatro hijos, siendo sus hermanos Adan L. López, Eva del Hierro y Rosalind "Rosie" L. García. A Micaela le sobrevive su pareja Ray Riley, sus dos hermanas Eva y Rosie y sus tres hijos: Edward Megliorino, Kenneth Megliorino y Tony Megliorino Jr. Será profundamente echada de menos por sus tres nietas: Alma Rodarte, Zabrina Megliorino, Nemi Sawyer y por sus tres nietos: Jude Megliorino, Tony Megliorino III y Nathan Megliorino. Lamentablemente, sus bisnietos Justin Megliorino y Greyson Sawyer no conocerán el amor y la orientación que Mickey podría haberles presentado en sus vidas. Los servicios se llevarán a cabo en Sunset Funeral Homes en Honda Pass el lunes 6 de julio del 2020 de 4:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m. y con el rosario comenzando a las 5:30 p.m. Cuando asista a los servicios, por favor use una máscara para su seguridad y la de los demás. Our deepest condolences on the loss of your sister. Mickie always had a smile for everyone, caring and joyful. Always caring for her family and friends. She could cook up a storm and would willing share her secret ingredients. She had a style for fashion dressed to impress and well coiffured. May she rest in peace and find glory in our Lord's eternal kingdom. Praying for you Eva and all your family, Laura and Maggie
