Dear Terry & sons: It saddened us to hear the news of the passing of our friend, Mike. He was such a nice, friendly and compassionate gentleman. He was always happy to see us at church and he always volunteered in the kitchen, he cooked really good menudo! I was in his team and he was so easy going and pleasant. We will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers always. Gilbert & Elena Monzon

Grijalva Family,
I take this time to express my deepest sympathy to all of you. May the Lord bless you during this time of need and always. I have many fond memories of your father and loved one.
One that stands out in my mind is how Mike who was suffering as well with his illness, helped Toby Tovar,(God Bless his soul), with his air conditioner and other repairs just weeks before Toby's death from cancer. I thought to myself what a humble and loving man he is, and that I was so glad to have made Mike's acquaintance through Terry (mi amiga). God surely has blessed you because I see much of your dad in the three of you Andy, Gilbert and David. Be thankful for being so loved and all the beautiful memories. God bless you.
Love, Julie

Dear Grijalva Family, we were all so blessed to have Mike in our lives and he will be missed tremendously. I guess my brother Sammy was dangling a big bass in heaven and Mike was eager to join him to catch even a bigger fish. And, I will never forget how Mike, Sam and Jimmy, my husband, would come back from fishing and clean those fish out in our backyard or the time Mike and Sam came over to our house to help load up the moving truck and Mike jumped in and organized everything so nothing would get damaged and it didn't. He was such a blessing and big help to us. And when he and Lilly came out to visit we were so happy to have family come out because that is what we considered him, family. We will truely miss his presence as we miss my brother Sammy. But I do know the compadres are up there together watching over all their loved ones. He was special to us and just know he was so proud of his boys and always spoke highly of each one of you. God be with you all and bless you. Love, Bonnie & Jimmy

Mike, my closest and loving primo and compadre, was such a great guy. We grew up being very close because we were exactly the same age. He was a couple months old than me, but was always teasing me about getting one year older, but my answe to him was that he was getting there two months earlier. Such good memories we had growing up. We will miss him but hopefully he will save all of us a good place in heaven where we can all be together again. Love you Beautifull Primo/Compadre

Some of my fondest childhood memories were when Mike and Terry would visit me and my family. Mike and Terry are my Godparents and they were very good ones at that, always remembering me on my birthday. It was always something to look forward to when Mike, Terry and the boys would visit us. I only regret not keeping in touch with them through the years and sadly it is a moment like this that I make contact again. Mike's laugh and great smile sticks in my memory as it was yesterday. As a child he had a very distinctive voice and a happy-go-lucky attitude. I have very many happy childhood memories and thanks to Mike, Terry and the boys for them. May God bless you all and may you find peace in your heart.

What a fun loving and caring man Mr. Grijalva was. I remember the times at Daves house talking with him. He was so full of information and a general love for life and those around him I will miss him and the knowledge he shared with me but he will always live on in our memories. God bless the Grijalva Family. Much love, Crystal Smeltzer Sears
