Marshall Johnson Obituary

Marshall Dean Johnson Marshall Dean Johnson, age 72 of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2006. He was born in Erie on February 5, 1934 a son of the late Carl Reuben and Leona Nelson Johnson. He was a 1952 graduate of Academy High School. He was an Army Veteran. He was a builder and small engine repairman and a jack-of-all trades. He was a hunter and fisherman most of his life and he loved gardening. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Anita Johnson on March 20, 1999. Marshall is survived by his wife of 33 years, Marnita Matson Brandt Johnson, whom he married on August 25, 1972; three children and three step-children; Carl Johnson and his wife Wendy of Ohio, Carol Johnson of Ohio, Michael Johnson and his fiancé Alisia of Erie, James Brandt and his wife Christy of Erie, Donna Brandt of Puerto Rico and Mark Brandt of Kansas. Three brothers; Harry Johnson and his wife Marjorie of Erie, Richard Johnson and his wife Patricia of Fairview and Charles Johnson and his wife Patricia of Washington. Two sisters; Doris Forbes and her husband Milton of Edinboro and Betty Dooley of Florida. He had 13 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. There will be no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Lawrence Park at 11 a.m. The Interim Pastor, Rick Penn, will be officiating. Memorials may be made to the family. The Francis V. Kloecker Funeral Home, Inc., 2502 Sassafras St. is in charge of arrangements.
