It is with much sadness that we have endured the passing of our dear brother. The oldest of five siblings born on January 21,1964 with his life ending on May 22,2025. Bryan lived most of his adult life in Florida where he and his wife Cindy of 34 years worked and he owned his own landscaping buisness. Growing up here in Erwin you could not take the country out of the boy! Bryan loved coming home and attending turkey shoots with family and friends at the Erwin Elks lodge, as a teenager he loved fishing the Nolichucky Gorge and hunting morel mushrooms by the ponds! With his dimpled smile and charming personality one could not help but fall in love with him! He was the type of person who would do anything for anyone in need! Bryan took care of us girls while our mother and father worked, he was the one to introduce us to the love of music from REO Speedwagon to ACDC, we often rocked our house! During Bryan's life he suffered the loss of several close friends, he suffered the pain of losing those that were close to him especially our dear mother Helen Bowman. The flood of hurricane Helene was devastating to him as he viewed the destruction of the places he once roamed! Bryan will be greatly missed, his contagious smile will forever be in our hearts! Bryan is survived by three sons, Brandon Bowman, Josh Bowman, Cody Bowman and one daughter Ashleigh Thompson. Bryan had five grandchildren Arianna Parker, Luke Bowman, Ava Santana, Serenity Bowman and Marceline Bowman. His four remaining siblings Scott Bowman, Sabrina Watts, Christy Bowman and Carol Bowman. Along with several nieces and nephews that he was incredibly fond of. The family will gather for a private cemetery service at a later date.
