Mark Stover Obituary
York - Mark T. Stover, Jr., 90, passed away May 2, 2018 at the York Hospital. He was formerly married to Peggy D. (Carr) Stover.
Born November 21, 1927 on a farm in Brodbecks, he was the son of the late Mark T., Sr. and Mabel V. (Broadbeck) Stover.
Mark is survived by son, Steven T. Stover of Hanover; three daughters, Susan P. Stover of Hanover, Karen L. Bickings of York and Robin D. Hunt of Twin Falls, ID. Mark is also survived by many grand and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three siblings, Lilla Garrett and Nell Walace, both of Hanover and Al Stover of Red Lion. In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by a sister, Mearie Naill; and a brother, Morris Stover.
Mark was an Navy veteran of WWII. He worked most of his life as a carpenter out of Local 191. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spent a lot of time RV'ing.
Following cremation, a memorial will be held at the discretion of the family.
