Phil exemplified living life with enthusiasm and joy. I worked with Phil at the petroleum research center in Bartlesville. He was a talented chemist who always had good ideas that he shared with his coworkers. I always admired his energy. I offer my condolences to his family.

So sorry to hear this news. Phil was a most interesting, kind person and so supportive on Oklahoma's Nature Conservancy. He will be truly missed.

Kairos prison ministry in Oklahoma will never be the same without Phil's presence. His energy and enthusiasm, even to the day of his passing will continue to be an inspiration to me and all of the lives he touched. If the inmates at all of the prisons that he encountered had internet access, this guest book would be overloaded.

Phil was a great guy. The prisoners at our Kairos events all seem to gravitate to Phil. His insight into their situations and his enthusiastic dancing endeared him to the prisoners attending the Kairos retreats over the last 25 years. He was a memorable person and will be greatly missed by all of us that knew him. I know he is dancing to 'Pharaoh, Pharaoh' for the guys in heaven right now :)
