Lois Crnkovic Sava
June 18, 1938 - August 3, 2025
Lois Crnkovic Sava, 87, of Front Royal, Virginia, went to be with her Lord on August 3, 2025. She passed peacefully at home in the company of her family. She was born on June 18, 1938 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Ed and Frazine Ebarb Crnkovic, and was one of ten children.
Lois grew up in Zwolle, Louisiana and graduated from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. She spent her career as a registered nurse and Mary Kay Cosmetics consultant and sales director. She was a member of Saint John the Baptist Church in Front Royal and was deeply dedicated to her faith. She loved gardens, flowers, birds and all of God's creation. Most of all, Lois was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and her family will cherish her memory forever.
Lois is survived by her husband, Charles Foltz; children, Donna Sava of Warrenton, Virginia, Kenneth Sava and wife Jennifer of Fairfax Station, Virginia, Stanley Sava and wife Donna of Seaford, Delaware, Amanda Clopton and husband Steve of Boone, North Carolina, Teresa Sava of Front Royal, VA, and Felice Sava of Bristow, Virginia, JoAnn Foltz Bjornson and husband Chris of Arlington, Virginia and Alex Linsangan of Arlington, Virginia, grandchildren; Blake Harris and wife Laurie, Ryan Harris and wife Mackenzie, Colin Harris and wife Jessica, Amanda Sava, Natalie Sava Smart and husband Will, Griffin Sava, Stephanie Hilton, Will Hilton, and Isabella Bjornson; great-grandchildren, Jackson Harris, Madelyn Harris, Benjamin Harris, Ariana Harris and Ezra Harris; siblings, Wilburn Crnkovic, Josephine Crnkovic Jones and Donald Crnkovic and wife Linda, and many dear nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Charles Sava, her parents, and siblings Steve Crnkovic, Joseph Crnkovic, Johnny Crnkovic, Frank Crnkovic, Helen Crnkovic Byers, and Pete Crnkovic.
Services were held on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 2 PM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 120 West Main Street, Front Royal where Father Michael Deusterhaus officiated. Burial will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
The family received friends on Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 6 to 8 PM at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal.
