John Jaeger Obituary

Jaeger, John "Jack"

John B. "Jack" Jaeger, 67, of Campbellsport, passed away on May 30, 2013 at home with his wife by his side after a courageous fight with cancer.

He was born on January 15, 1946, in Campbellsport, the son of the late Kenneth and Evelyn (Schoepke) Jaeger. On May 11, 1968 he was united in marriage to Diane Vetter, his wife of 45 years.

Jack served in the Army National Guard for six years. He owned Jaeger Construction Company for over 25 years. Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He loved spending time with his granddaughters and watching them play volleyball and basketball. He was always trying to make people laugh; he had a great sense of humor. Jack will be deeply missed by his wife, his family, and by all who knew him.

Jack leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Diane, daughter Tanya, son-in-law John, two granddaughters Brittany and Emily, brother Jim, and many brother in-laws and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in his death by his brother Tom, father-in-law Leland Vetter, mother-in-law Vivian Vetter, nephew Joey Boden, niece Julie Jaeger, and brother-in-law Gerald Vetter.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 3rd at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Campbellsport from 4:00-6:00 PM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 6:00 PM and then dinner to follow. Inurnment in St. Martin's Cemetery, Ashford, will be held at a later date.

Family extends a heartfelt thanks to Father Neil and the entire health care staff of Agnesian Cancer Center of Fond du Lac and Hospice Hope. In lieu of flowers, donations to Agnesian HealthCare Foundation would be appreciated.
