Maureen Schreiner

Fond du Lac - Longtime Fond du Lac resident Maureen Schreiner, 95, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at St. Francis Home.

Mrs. Schreiner was the wife of the late Bernard Schreiner, owner of Schreiner's Restaurant until his retirement in 1992. They were married on August 9, 1947 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Mr. Schreiner passed away in December 2009.

Mrs. Schreiner is survived by her two children and their spouses: Su Anne Browne (Judson Browne) of Deerfield Illinois and Richard Schreiner (Alison Graf) of Milwaukee.

A private ceremony will be held.

Memorials are requested to be directed to the Bernard and Maureen Schreiner Fund (in support of scholarships) at the Fond du Lac Area Foundation.

Maureen truly epitomize a “gentle-woman” , always with a good word and a smile to everyone. Her devotion to her husband Bernie was legendary.
I have many special memories of her throughout the years.
