Robert Wiese Obituary
Robert L. Wiese, 92, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, July 21, 2013, at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac.
He was born on September 24, 1920, in Algoma, a son of Louis and Martha Iwen Wiese. Robert graduated in 1938 from Algoma High School and attended Bradley University from 1949 to 1951.
Robert served with the United States Air Force from 1943 to 1945.
On May 9, 1960, he married Luella M. Hanson in Dubuque, Iowa.
He worked as a watchmaker at Rummele's Jewelers in Manitowoc from 1951 to 1956, at which time he moved to Fond du Lac and then worked at Krail Jewelry Store until retiring in 1985.
Robert was a member of St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac. He was a member of the N.R.A. and the American Legion Trier Puddy Post 75.
He is survived by his wife, Luella; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private funeral service will be held at Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 31 E. Division Street, Fond du Lac, with Rev. Matthew Guse officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Algoma.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Bob from Krail's and St. Peter's. I lived above the store for a few years before my marriage to Ken in 1969. I was known then as Janet Tuttle.
