Harry Lucas Obituary
November 23, 1957- January 28, 2013
Harry Lucas, 55, entered this life in Jacksonville, Florida, the second of ten children born to Therese Pellerin Lucas and Harry W. Lucas, Jr. He was proud to have served our country in the US Army. Harry was a big fun- loving guy who never met a stranger. He had a booming laugh and was happiest when he was around his large family either in Florida or Quebec.
Harry loved hiking and camping in the mountains, fishing, canoeing, and surfing; any activity that was out in nature and near a river or a beach. Harry was very loyal and protective of his family. He was our champion. He was an amazing cook and especially enjoyed supervising our large family barbeques and seafood feasts.
Harry was predeceased by his father, Harry Lucas, Jr. He is survived by the children who gave him much joy and pride, his daughter, Crystal Lucas; his son, Harry W. Lucas IV; and his grand-daughter, Summer Lucas. He is also survived by his mother, Therese Pellerin Lucas; and his god-mother, Nicole Pellerin. His siblings that survive include: Renee Lucas Pascale (Mark), Nicole Lucas Hirst (Blaine), Lise Lucas Sanchez (Juan), Michele Lucas Moore (Maurice), Paul Lucas, Daniel Lucas (Petra), Richard Lucas, Angele Lucas Lovett (Paul), and Benjamin Lucas. Harry was a devoted and proud uncle to Nicholas, Blaise, Luke, Madeleine, Rachel, Sarah, Tyler, Emily, Eric, Daniel, Alexis, Stefanie, Kurt and Jacob. They will all miss his tall tales and his bear hugs. His family in Quebec including many aunts, uncles and cousins also will miss him.
A Requiem Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, February 5, at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rockledge, FL.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to the Alzheimer's Association of Central Florida or to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

I attended St. Mary's school with Harry. Always remember Harry as a quiet, shy soul with the most amazing blue eyes and his smile, with those big dimples. So glad I was able to see & talk to Harry when I was back in Rockledge for a couple of the St. Mary's Class of '71 reunions. My thoughts & prayers are with his family. Rest in peace Harry.

Harry was a neighbor on Valencia. Grew up with him and was friends with his sisters. He will be missed by so many. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Very sad. Always super nice. easy going. I remember the days Harry.

As a former St. Mary's classmate of Harry's, I recall his gentle, quiet demeanor and blue eyes. I'm saddened by Harry's untimely passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family and with my St. Mary's family. God bless all of you~Take care.

I am a St Mary's classmate, even though it has been a while I remember Harry' s blue eyes. A few of us girls stopped by to visit before the fair. It was great seeing the shocked look on his face of us being there.. He never expected it. But we got a big hug and a smile to remember forever. I am praying for the family to endure and be strong for one another.

It was so long ago we were classmates. So glad I could tip back a few beers with you at the St. Mary's during our class reunion. One day (but not too soon) I hope to catch up with. Will play a game of HORSE like we did on the SMS playgrounds.
Seems we were both born in Jacksonville, FL.
