Alicia Bennett Obituary
At the age of 12, she found golf, a hobby that would bring immense joy and introduce her to her beloved husband, Gordon H. Bennett Jr., and many of the friends whose love sustained her throughout her life.
Alicia's steadfast commitment to her relationships, even as Alzheimer's threatened to overshadow her vibrant spirit, is her most enduring legacy. Through it all, her love for her friends and family never wavered, and neither did her unique sense of humor, which always brought smiles and laughter to those around her.
Please join us in celebrating Alicia's life on Saturday, (September 16), from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at 815 South Main Street, Geneva. In true Alicia "life of the party" fashion, the celebration will include live music and a well stocked bar.
Though predeceased by her cherished husband, Gordon H Bennett Jr.; parents Joseph Fennell and Alice Duffy Fennell; and Carol F Kerns, Alicia's legacy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her children: Christine Bennett West and her husband, Tom West, Gordon H. Bennett III and his wife, Shanti Lianna Bennett; grandchildren Gordon M Bennett IV, Brooks Bennett, and Catherine West; and brother Robert Fennell (Cynthia); and all the many extended family and friends she touched during her life.
The family wishes to warmly thank everyone who has shown love and support, ensuring that Alicia's final years were filled with comfort and love.
