Frederick Santee Obituary
A brief service will be held on Saturday, September 6 at 1:00 p.m. at the Potter Firehouse 1255 Phelps Rd Middlesex, N.Y., followed by celebration of Fred's life until 4:00 p.m. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family in Nettle Valley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be directed to Light Hill, 5160 Parrish Street Extension, Canandaigua, N.Y. 14424. Donations may also be made online at https://lighthillhome.org
Fred was born on September 22, 1935, the son of Efner Santee and Agnes Brown Santee. He worked for 27 years at Johnson & Smith Florist in Penn Yan, and later retired from the Marcus Whitman School District in 2002. Fred enjoyed playing cards, fishing, working outside, & spending time with family.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 62½ years, Betty Ann (Watts); his daughter Ann (Stan) Mullin; his son Jim (Paula) Santee; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren.
Fred was predeceased by his siblings Pauline, Doris, Albert, Bill, John, Paul & Donald.
