Ida DeFazio Obituary
GENEVA - Ida B. DeFazio, 88, passed away peacefully Fri. (June 21, 2013).
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Mon. (June 24), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home, LLC, 28 Genesee Street, Geneva, N.Y. 14456. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday (June 25) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
Ida was born June 9, 1925 and was the daughter of the late Antonio and Michael Sasso. She retired from the Finger Lakes Laundry after many years. Ida was a lifelong parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Church. She lived for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ida was a beloved mother to Michael (Karen) DeFazio of Penn Yan, Dominick "Fuzzy" (Joyce) DeFazio, Jr. of Geneva, and Mary Ann (Gary) Passalacqua of Geneva; beloved grandmother to Michael, Serrina, Christine, Mark, Robert, Lisa, Terry, Erik, Thomas, Jessica, Dominick III, Jessica, John, Chelsea, Anna, Greg, Laura, Joseph and Abbie; and a beloved great-grandmother of 13 children. Ida will be sadly missed.
Ida is predeceased by her husband Dominick DeFazio; brothers Sammy (Mary) Sasso, Peter (Rose) Sasso, Cosmo (Clara) Sasso and Tony Sasso; sister Mary (Pete) Sarratori.

I will always remember Ida as a nice lady and a wonderful neighbor. I miss the old neighborhood and Ida and her family have given me great memories. Thoughts and prayers are with Mike, Junior and Mary Ann.
