Jeffrey Chase Obituary

Geneva/Newark - Jeffrey M. Chase, 33, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 22, 2023.

The family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, (June 30) at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St, Newark. A celebration of life will be held at the Hermon Fire Department, 1650 Co Rd 21, Hermon, NY 13652 at a date and time to be announced.

Jeffrey was born the son of Jeffrey and Staci (Johnson) Chase on Sunday, October 1, 1989, in Potsdam, NY. Jeff grew up in the area graduating from Newark High School class of 2007. Jeff's whole world revolved around his daughter, Addison. He was an activist at heart, supporting causes like BLM and woman's rights. He enjoyed being in nature, listening to music, and gardening.

Jeff will be remembered by his fiancee, Brooke Toth; children, Addison Bulman, Erik and Noah Smith; his parents, Jeff (Staci) Chase; grandparents, Marlo (Connie) Chase, Howard (Barb) Johnson and Pam (Roland) Collins; brothers, Matthew Chase and Mackenzie (Hailey) Chase; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
