Lawrence DeTorio Obituary
Friends may call on Thursday, November, 21 from 4P.M.-7P.M. at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons, N.Y. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, November 2 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 3 Holley St. in Lyons. Burial will be in South Lyons Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials in his name may be made to the March of Dimes, PO Box 3155, Harlan, Iowa 51593-0346.
Larry was born in Lyons, N.Y., on April 15, 1956 the son of the late Joseph and Virginia Angelo DeTorio Sr. He earned his bachelor's degree from RIT in accounting. On May 3, 1980, he married Corrieen "Dee" Garrett. For over 40 years he worked in payroll for Mobil Chemical. A communicant of St. Michael's Church, he was also active in their jail ministries.
Mr. DeTorio is survived by his wife Corrieen "Dee"; two daughters Staci (Dylan) Oquain, Marci (Rian West) DeTorio; a grandson Mason Podolski; two sisters Diane (Dennis) McCabe, Carol (Michael) Kennedy; a brother Joseph (Amy) DeTorio Jr.; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by infant twin daughters Karen and Kelly DeTorio; an infant granddaughter Eleanor West.
