Sylvia Phillips Obituary
A private family celebration will be held at a later date.
Sylvia was born on June 3, 1937 in Penn Yan, N.Y. to Kenneth Brizzee and Unadah Lawton. She worked in medical billing for medical administrations. Sylvia moved to Palm Coast in 2015 from Wilmington, Del. Her hobbies included sewing, reading, jigsaw puzzles and she was an avid Philly's sports fan.
Sylvia is survived by her husband of 59 years, Donald Phillips of Palm Coast; daughter, Cheryl Phillips of Palm Coast; son, William Phillips Sr. of Wilmington, Del; brothers Jake Makepeace, Phil Brizzee; sister, Barbara Buxton; grandchildren D.J. Phillips, Billy Phillips Jr., Melissa Phillips; great grandson, Grayson Phillips and granddog, Cosmo.
The family of Mrs. Phillips entrusted the arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of Sylvia. May God rest her soul in peace. It was always such a pleasure to see that Don and Sylvia had returned to 1100 Lore for a few months. I will always remember her as such a sweet and kind lady. I'll miss her.

Don, and the Phillips family, please accept my thoughts and prayers on the passing of Sylvia. I was very sad to read of her passing in the paper today. She was a wonderful lady and always had a positive and friendly attitude. I will always remember the laughter that came from the pool when we were neighbors. My sympathy is with you.
